Last night under the sparkling stars at Pier Sixty, Chelsea Piers, we came together to celebrate the amazing journey and achievements of our Youth of the Year 2023: Bianca, Kayla, Madiagne, Nazhir, Prince Elijah, and Savannah. This event wasn’t just about applauding their individual successes; it was a heartfelt tribute to the unwavering spirit of youth and the bright future they represent. As a New York event photographer, I was honored to capture the genuine emotions and sheer determination that radiated from these young leaders—their eyes reflecting resilience and big hopes for what’s ahead.
Our Champion of Youth honorees—Kerry Chandler, Mandell Crawley, and Wayne Hewett—along with Deloitte, our Corporate Champion of Youth, and Otis Rolley, the inspiring Wells Fargo award speaker, truly embodied leadership and dedication. Their commitment to service and excellence lit the way for our young leaders, serving as a beacon of inspiration. The incredible energy of our MC, Sarah Wallace, kept the evening alive with excitement and purpose, perfectly mirroring the steadfast spirit of our youth. Being there among our supporters, volunteers, and attendees, it was clear that together we’re building a brighter future for our young people, helping them reach new heights.
